The League of New Hampshire Craftsmen?s Fair is the longest-running crafts fair in the US wherein the first successful event was held in 1933 in Crawford Notch. But, it was in 1964 when it was officially transferred to its current venue In Mount Sunapee State Park, now known as the Mount Sunapee Resort in Newbury, New Hampshire. Through its massive development, the annual fair has earned a spot as one of the best and most esteemed craft events in the whole United States. It?s a 9-day affair held on the first Saturday of August and features conventional and modern crafts created by members of the league.

Whether it?s a rainy or sunny day, the fair must go on! Visitors won?t run out of unique and useful things to buy such as glass, jewelry, metalwork, prints, woodcarvings, fiber arts, furniture, sculptures, leatherwork and weaving from two hundred booths. One can also learn a lot from the craft making exhibits and workshops that are held throughout the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen?s Fair.
