The Mount Washington State Park is a state park in Sargent’s Purchase, New Hampshire. It is best known for featuring the highest peak in the Northeast.

Perched on the summit of Mount Washington, the Mount Washington State Park is a unique outdoor destination. Aside from offering a couple of outdoor activities to the public, it is mostly visited for its historic and scenic value. Here, visitors can see the historic 1853 Tip Top House and ride the Mount Washington Cog Railway, which is the world’s very first mountain climbing cog railway, built in 1869, that is still operational today. The Mount Washington State Park is also a favorite hiking destination among many folks.
