The New Hampshire Boat Museum houses many fine examples of vintage mahogany and antique boats through rotating exhibits. These include Gar Wood, Chris Craft, Century Dodge, Penn Yan, Hacker, and Lyman. There are also runabouts, race-boats, canoes, sail boats, and guide boats. Outboard, paddle, steam, and sail enthusiasts will enjoy the displays that are enhanced with archival photos, models, and trophies. Through these displays, the Museum is able to bring to life the grand era of boating.

The New Hampshire Boat Museum showcases the fine craftsmanship of a vintage boat as well as the camaraderie of the people who enjoy boating.

The Museum was founded by a group of dedicated antique and classic boating enthusiasts who wanted to preserve the boating heritage of the New Hampshire Lakes. Today, it also offers programs for young visitors, families, and adults. It features a wooden boat restoration course, a youth boat building program, a family and adult boating program, boat building for men and women, safe boat handling classes, and many more.

The Museum also houses its own Gift Shop where visitors can purchase unique items and memorabilia.
