The nation’s oldest state house in which its original legislature still convenes is located in the state of New Hampshire. The New Hampshire State House is the seat of government of New Hampshire. It is located at the capital city of Concord. It currently houses the Office of the Governor, the New Hampshire General Court, and the Executive Council.

The Greek Revival capitol was built in 1816 by architect Stuart Park using smooth granite blocks. The entrance is covered by a small portico featuring several Doric columns. The main entrance opens into the Doric Hall, designed by Charles Bulfinch using the previous design for the Massachusetts State House. The hall, also known as the Hall of Flags, is notable for its 107 battle flags used in many wars such as Civil War, World War I and II, and the Vietnam War.

The capitol is open for public tours from Mondays through Fridays.
