The Northwood Meadows State Park is a state park in Northwood, New Hampshire. It covers about 700 acres of land in a wilderness setting.
Rescued from being razed down and cleared off, the Northwood Meadows State Park is a result of a community effort. A group of locals took the initiative to save it and turn it into a protected area. Today it operates largely through volunteer work.
Due to its setup, the Northwood Meadows State Park offers a pretty wide range of activities and scenery to its visitors. It is partly wooded, partly open, with some amounts of shoreline, giving it a unique characteristic.
Activities like fishing, hiking, and winter recreation are available at the site. They are also open year round.
