Home to the well known poet Robert Frost during the first decade of the 1900s, the Robert Frost Farm is now a National Historic Landmark and operates as a historic house museum and state park.

Notable for being the poet’s home when he wrote most of his poems that were included in his first two books, the Robert Frost Farm is known to have been quite an inspirational place for Frost. The family worked on a farm, with the help of some hired men, as Frost was deemed by the locals as a lazy farmer.

The Robert Frost Farm was actually originally owned by Frost’s grandfather. They had to move out from the property because Frost was hired at the Plymouth Normal School.
