The Rye Harbor State Park is a state park in Rye, New Hampshire. It is located in the state?s coastline and provides stunning coastal views of the Isles of Shoasl, Rye Harbor or the Ragged Neck, and the Atlantic Ocean.
Despite being situated by the Atlantic Ocean, the Rye Harbor State Park is not exactly for swimming, mostly because it is a harbor and the water is filled with boats. Visitors can enjoy picnicking with the ocean breeze, though, or go saltwater fishing. There are several picnic tables at the site as well as some comfort areas.
The down side of the Rye Harbor State Park is that it is a seasonal destination. It only operates from late May to mid-October.
