Founded in 1986, the See Science Center celebrated its 25th anniversary with a bang this April 2011. In this museum, learning and playing has been skillfully integrated in all of its hands-on exhibits. The greatest attraction is no doubt the 55:1 scaled replica of the Amoskeag Millyard, which mirrors how the site exactly looked back in the early 20th century. The LEGO masterpiece was created using approximately three million bricks and included eight thousand mini figures, which was roughly half the size of the original workforce of the mill yard. Not to be missed as well is the Moonwalk exhibit. It?s not a place that kids can learn how to dance like Michael Jackson but it?s something just as good since the exhibit helps kids discover how it would feel like walking on the moon.

Other hands-on exhibits displayed at the area aim to make simple scientific subjects more interesting like light, simple machines, sound electricity, and the different types of forces. The museum also has traveling exhibits on offer as well as various mini-courses and workshops taking place throughout the year. It has function and meeting space available for business and social gatherings and the museum is especially adept at handling overnight tours, birthday parties, and outreach programs.
