The Allaire State Park is known for its town that is of the 19th century and popular for being an iron making industry. It is also known for its ancient steam trains that can be found on the Pine Creek Railroad. It also has the Manasquan River that flows through the entire park and is a perfect spot for fishers and canoeists.

The river serves as home to about 200 species of trees, plants and other wildflowers along with a wide array of wildlife. This is one reason why a lot of visitors who are passionate hikers and mountain bikers enjoy unraveling the place and the very trails of the park. It is also perfect to be visited by disabled visitors due to its accessible attractions.
