The Franklin Mineral Museum offers a wide range of mineralogical, geological, archaeological, and historical themes. The Museum has more than 4,000 mineral specimens displayed systematically in its local room. It includes the ones that are displayed on the 33 foot long fluorescent display in its fluorescent room, which boasts of the most colorful and brilliant fluorescent minerals.

Visitors can also see a life size mine replica that depicts the mining methods that were used in the Franklin mines.

The Museum also offers the visitors the rare experience of collecting. They will be allowed to collect on any of the 3 collecting areas that they have visited. And aside from this enjoyable feature, mineral identification is also now offered by the facility. Furthermore, the Gift Shop and some picnic areas also add to the fulfillment and comfort that the Museum brings.
