The Heritage Glass Museum is a historical museum which dedicates itself to the preservation and perpetuation of the glass industry heritage of the region. In Glassboro, glass industry already has the recognition of being the premier center for the best equipped and most skilled artisans producing glass in a variety of colors and styles.

The industry began in 1779 when Solomon Stranger and his family decided to migrate from Germany and establish their glass works on 200 acres of property.

Now, in the museum, visitors can trace back the history of Glassboro?s glass industry. They can also enjoy and marvel at the different glasses, bottles, and other similar items on the displays. It is encouraged to offer exhibits of bottles to provide security and access to the region?s public locations like schools, colleges, and libraries as a means of increasing public awareness of Glasboro?s glass heritage.
