The West Milford Museum is the outcome of a 20-year collaboration among local businesses, volunteers and the municipal government. Located in the center of the town, which breaks away from the busy and hectic pace of the metropolitan area, it holds all the records of its developments over the past centuries. It is able to provide different perspectives on the town’s history through exhibits, both permanent and changing, that showcase artifacts, photographs, documents, videos, and books.

The Museum is manned by volunteers and is available for large group appointments and class visits. It also holds special and annual events. For walk-in visitors, it is open every Saturday from 1pm to 4pm.
