The Anderson Museum of Contemporary Art is an art museum in Roswell, New Mexico. It showcases work made by local artists who were a part of the Roswell Artist-in-Residence program.

Opened in 1994 to serve as an exhibit space for the abovementioned arts program, the Anderson Museum of Contemporary Art guarantees a diverse collection, featuring at least 300 works of art in a 17,000 square feet worth of space. It presents photographs, prints, paintings, sculpture, and drawings that mirror the different issues all throughout the past 37 years.

A very unique art space, the Anderson Museum of Contemporary Art is one of the few exhibit spaces that are focused on contemporary visual art. This makes it quite a great place to visit, whether you’re from or out of town.
