The Aztec Museum & Pioneer Village is an open air museum and park in Aztec, New Mexico. It tells of the area?s local history, through various displays and exhibits.

Originally a small museum housed in the historic Aztec City Hall, the Aztec Museum & Pioneer Village has truly developed largely from its inception in 1974 to what it is today. From being just a small museum, locals helped in developing and maintaining the Pioneer Village that features 12 historic structures that were moved to the current location to replicate a village from the early days of the 20th century. The village is composed of the Old Aztec Jail, Denver and Rio Grande Railroad Caboose, Log Cabin, Citizens Bank, Farmhouse, School House, Magistrate?s Office, Post Office and General Store, Doctor?s Office, Blacksmith and Carpentry Shop, and a Tinsmith and Print Shop.
