The Bond House Museum is a local history museum in Española, New Mexico. It features the development of Española from being a frontier outpost to a commercial center.
Opened in 1982, the Bond House museum was built around the turn o the century. It was named after the Frank Bond family, who established the Española Mercantile and built the property. It was added to the State Register of Historic Places in 1978 and then to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
Today, the Bond House Museum tells of the great history and past of the town of Española. It also showcases one of the most beautiful examples of turn of the century craftsmanship through the house’s architecture and make.
