The Bubbles Hot Spring is a natural hot spring location near Silver City, New Mexico. It is best noted for being one of the largest and deepest pools in the region.
Naturally made after a large flood of the San Francisco River caused scouring out of a portion of the nearby Cliffside, the Bubbles Hot Springs is considered as one of the country?s great wonders. It is large, about 50 by 100 feet wide and a couple of feet deep. It has a sandy bottom and is actually under shade. It is also clean as it skims itself by flowing out through a small man-made dam.
Boiling up to 102 degrees, visitors may need to hike a quarter mile downstream to get to the Bubbles Hot Springs. As the location is quite primitive, it should also be noted to be careful when moving around.
