The Cerrillos Turqoise Mining Museum is a natural and local history museum and attraction in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The site itself tells of a very interesting beginning, with most of the items and antiques on display salvaged from all around the neighborhood?s backyards, giving it an authentic feel.

The Cerrillos Turquoise Mining Museum is basically a historic complex that tells of the area?s past through their display of tools, artifacts, antiques, equipment, and other objects used in the everyday life of the Los Cerrillos? mining era. Located in the old site of the historic Palace Hotel, the Los Cerrillos mines were once a great source of turquoise. A great amount still remains on the site today, and visitors who find some can use them as currency at the trading post.

The Cerrillos Turquoise Mining Museum also has a small petting zoo.
