The Cimarron Canyon State Park is also part of the Colin Neblett Wildlife section which is known to be the biggest in the state. It is set in a high country landscape that is assuredly very scenic. It has all the palisade cliffs, several running waters which are clear, and a lot of other running water forms that give the entire landscape a refreshing feel. It has a lot of granite formations that build up the palisade cliffs which dominate the entire scenery of the park. It is perfect not just for hiking but also for skiing when especially done near the primary canyon.

The state park also renders first class fishing activities in New Mexico where anglers can explore about 8 miles of water filled with trouts and rainbows. You can also get to try fishing in the Tolby and Clear Creek. Get to see a lot of wildlife like deer, bear, some turkey, and a lot more which are also entertaining and encouraging for a lot of hunters.
