The City of Las Vegas Museum is a local history museum in Las Vegas, New Mexico. It is also known as the City of Las Vegas Museum and Rough Rider Memorial Collection.
Housed in a historic 1940 Works Progress Administration project building known as the Municipal Building, the City of Las Vegas Museum features more than 7000 items on display, focused on telling of the heritage and colorful past of the area. Most items are related to the Rough Riders, who had a lot of involvement in various events in the past. On display are their photographs and memorabilia related to their involvement in the 1989 Cuban Campaign and the Spanish-American War.
The City of Las Vegas Museum is open every Tuesdays through Thursdays from 10 am to 4 pm.
