Cross of the Martyrs is a small attraction and historic site in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It is popular for easy hikes or challenging walks around the area.

The Cross of the Martyrs is also an often-overlooked attraction in the city. Maybe this is because it is just a 25-footer concrete cross in a clearing up a hill. However, it is more than just that as it is also sort of a memorial to the 21 Franciscan friars and several other Spanish colonists who died during the Pueblo Revolt of 1680. It overlooks the city and presents a look into its history that resulted into a blend of three cultures through several interpretive signs along the way.

The easy “hike” up the Cross of the Martyrs usually takes around 15 minutes or so and it promises a great view of the surroundings.
