The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum is a small art and biographical museum in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It is best known for being the first art museum that was ever dedicated to the work of a female artist of an international stature.

As the name suggests, the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum is all about the artists Georgia Totto O’Keeffe. She became world renowned through her abstract imagery, making her works some of the most innovative works ever created by American artists during the 1910s and 1920s.

Opened in 1997 by philanthropists Anne and John Marion, the Georgia
O’Keeffe Museum features the works of O’Keeffe and some of her contemporaries. Their operating hours are posted on their official website, with special notes on when they will be closed.
