The Globalquerque! is a music festival celebrated in Albuquerque City, New Mexico every September of the year. The event is usually held at National Hispanic Cultural Center at 4th Street Southwest, Avenida C?sar Ch?vez. The first music festival was mounted in 2005 wherein distinguished musicians and artists from six of the seven continents of the globe participated in a one big night concert.

The success of the first event has brought demands from the public to make it an annual music fest. From a one-night concert, the Globalquerque! has evolved into a two-night music roar and up beats. The concert typically features three parts of entertainment such as state of the art Albuquerque Journal Theater, the Mexican pyramid-inspired Plaza Mayor, and the Fountain Courtyard. There is also what they call ?Global Fiesta? that usually takes place during Saturday afternoon of the event. It includes dance classes of different countries and cultures, workshops on handicrafts, and series of film showing. These activities are part of the Education Department of national Hispanic Cultural Center. The Global Village, on the other hand, features food booths from different continental cuisines, art booths with face and body painting, and other crafts and culture displays. During the concert, there are street performers, dance groups, and foreign artists performing along side with New Mexico and Albuquerque?s local singers. It features diverse genre of music, from rock to alternative to reggae to pop rock and the likes.

The daytime events like Global Fiesta and Global Village are usually with free admissions while the night events are required with admission tickets.
