The Historic El Rancho Hotel, constructed in 1937, served as a temporary home to many Hollywood star from the 1930?s to the 1950?s. Around its rustic lobby, visitors today can see the autographed photos of the popular movie stars that have graced the hotel. A player piano and heavy wooden furniture adorn the lobby as well.

The rooms are named after different movie stars who were able to stay at the historic hotel. The visitors? western experience is further emphasized by its original Navaho rugs, western paintings and even crackling fire in the stone fireplace.

Retaining the charm of Old West Gallup, it was designated as a National Historic Site. Aside from accommodations, it also houses the El Rancho Restaurant which offers great tasty Mexican and American meals.
