The Historical Center for Southeast New Mexico Museum is a historic house museum in Roswell, New Mexico. It is named after the Historical Society for Southeast New Mexico that runs and operates the site. It features the 1912 James White House, which has always been considered as a Roswell landmark since its completion in the early 1900s.

The James White House is noted for its connection with James Phelps White, a prominent Roswell resident who was a modest, yet very generous and helpful man. He was a cattle rancher, farm developer and a well respected figure in the community for his great contributions.

The Historical center for Southeast New Mexico Museum presents the house in its original glory, furnished with antiques and artifacts. It showcases the life of the area?s early prominent citizens through its displays and exhibits.
