The Hubbard Museum of the American West is a museum in Ruidoso Downs, New Mexico that is focused on all the aspects of life and history of the American West. It is best known for their excellent collection, with a substantial amount focused on the local and regional arts, culture, and history.

Founded in 1992 by RD and Joan Dale Hubbard, the Hubbard Museum of the American West originally started as a home to a great collection of Anne C. Stradling?s Museum of the Horse. It was later presented to the City of Ruidoso Downs in 2005, who still owns and operates the site today, and evolved into a historic Western Museum.
