The Las Cruces Museum of Natural History is a natural history museum in Las Cruces, New Mexico. It is owned and operated by the city government and brings a lot of information on the said field of sciences to locals and visitors alike without fail.
Opened in 1983 as the After-School Science Academy which was originally a local branch of Albuquerque?s New Mexico Museum of Natural History, the Las Cruces Museum of Natural History took its own shape and developed largely as time went by. It was re-established in its current form just after four years when the city took over its management and funding.
The Las Cruces Museum of Natural History showcases live animal displays, educational programs, and several events related to the said field of science and the natural environment of the region.
