LightBuckets is an observatory in Rodeo, New Mexico. Unlike other establishments of the sort in the state, it is open to the public because of its commercial nature.

Founded in 2007, the LightBuckets opened opportunity to astronomy enthusiasts ? from amateurs to professionals ? to gain access to a well equipped observatory. It is most popular for its online viewing features, which is accessible for a fee. LightBuckets? instruments include two Richey-Chretiens by RC Optical Systems, a 0.61 m f/8 and a 0.37 m. They also have a 0.2 m AstroSystem Austria N8 Newtonian Astrograph on the site in New Mexico. Others are located in other facilities.
