The Los Alamos Historical Museum is a local history museum in Los Alamos, New Mexico. It showcases displays as diverse as the area’s history and heritage.

Housed in the historic Guest House of the former Los Alamos Ranch School, the Los Alamos Historical Museum is packed with displays that tell of the area’s rich history. It goes as far back as to the days of the early settlers of the region, which are the Ancestral Pueblo Indians and the homesteaders.

They also have displays about the Los Alamos Ranch School, the elite all-boys school that operated until 1943 before the institution closed down and the site was seized and transformed into a Manhattan Project facility, which was used to create the atomic bomb.
