The New Mexico History Museum is a state history museum in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It encapsulates the history of the state of New Mexico with all of its more than 500 years, from the time that it was established as a Spanish colony to what it is today.

Housed in the National Historic Landmark, Palace of the Governors, the New Mexico History Museum is packed with history to the brim. The structure alone is worth visiting, with it being the oldest continuously occupied public building in all of the United States. It was built in 1610 to serve as the seat of government of the Spanish colony of New Mexico (Nuevo Mexico). It was reopened in 2009 as the home of the state history museum.
