The New Mexico Museum of Art is an art museum in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It is a part of the series of museums projects of the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs known as the Museum of New Mexico.

Founded in 1909 but officially opened as an art space in 1917, the New Mexico Museum of Art is the oldest art museum in all of New Mexico. It is housed in a Pueblo Revival style architecture building designed by Isaac Rapp.

The collection of the New Mexico Museum of Art is very diverse, mostly due to its history of originally having an open door policy. Visitors can now enjoy a great array of art pieces from Native American art to photographs, video installations, modernist paintings, and many others, amounting up to more than 20,000 pieces.
