The Philmont Museum is a local history museum and library in Cimarron, New Mexico. It is operated by the Phimont Scout Ranch.

Also known as the Philmont Museum and Seton Memorial Library, the Philmont Museum is a very interesting place to visit due to its contents and connections. It was established to house dislays about the Philmont Ranch, scouting, and the general area of Philmont. It also houses the Boy Scouts of America?s co-founder Ernest Thompson Seton?s personal library after Julia Seton donated it to the ranch in 1967. Most of the titles in the library pertain to western lore and local history.

The Philmont Museum is open to the public and also offers rotating exhibits, enticing visitors to come back regularly to see something new every now and then.
