The Philmont Scout Ranch is a training and adventure venue in Cimarron, New Mexico. It is a rugged, mountainous ranch facility owned by the Boy Scouts of America.

Established originally as a ranch of the oil baron Waite Philips, the Philmont Scout Ranch took on its current form in 1938 when it was established as the Philturn Rockymountain Scoutcamp. It offers great outdoor adventure to visitors, especially since it is open to both youth and adults alike. With the site?s various programs that take place all year long, visitors can be sure to find something worth enjoying while at the site.

The Philmont Scout Ranch is also noted for being the site of the only documented T-Rex track in the world.
