The Piedra Lumbre Education & Visitor Center is a history museum in Abiquiu, New Mexico. It focuses on various aspects of local history and heritage, from its geology, archaeology, paleontology to its culture and tradition.

Originally established in 1959, the Piedra Lumbre Education & Visitor Center has served various purposes in the past. It has always showcased various displays about the physical history of the area, but at one point, it also served as a shelter to rescued animals that aren’t fit to return to the wild anymore.

Today, the Piedra Lumbre Education & Visitor Center continues to be an educational venue. It is also equipped with picnic tables and a small snack area so visitors could easily take a break and enjoy the scenery.
