The Pioneer Store Museum is a small history museum in Winston, New Mexico. It is a part of the ghost town of Chloride that is being restored little by little by the Edmund family.

The Pioneer Store Museum features the 1880 Pioneer Store built by James Dalglish in the growing tent city of Chloride that was founded just a year later. It operated all throughout the area’s Silver Boom years (1880-1897). It operated until the early years of the 1900s, and could’ve continued if only the residents didn’t start moving away from the area.

Opened in 1998, the Pioneer Store Museum is a part of an Old West attraction. It features various displays related to its original time and purpose.
