Popejoy Hall is a multi-purpose theater in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is dubbed and touted as the premier performing arts center in the state.
Also considered as New Mexico?s grandest theater, the Popejoy Hall is located inside the campus of the University of New Mexico. It is named after a former UNM president, Tom Popejoy. It can seat up to 2043 patrons and is the largest multi-use venue in the state. It hosts a wide array of shows and events including Broadway musicals, symphony concerts, ballet, soloists, and noted speakers among many others.
The Popejoy Hall is among the four performance spaces in the University of New Mexico Center for the Arts. The other three are the Rodey Theatre, Experimental Theatre, and the Keller Hall.
