The Storrie Lake State Park is a state park in Las Vegas, New Mexico. It is best known for its consistent breeze, making it a top spot for windsurfing.

Established around 1960, the Storrie Lake State Park is quite small, with only 80 acres worth of land area. However, this doesn?t mean that it has less to offer, because it features the Storrie Lake, which measures 1100 in surface area. The lake is also mostly the reason for the popularity of the site, offering fishing year round and, of course, windsurfing, thanks to the area?s consistent winds.

Visitors can also enjoy water-skiing, sailing, camping, wildlife viewing, picnicking, and boating (except for motorized boats). There?s also a visitor center that tells of the area?s history.
