When Tinkertown is mentioned, no doubt the first thing that comes to your mind would be the miniature sprite named Tinkerbell and rightly so because that?s exactly what the New Mexico Tinkertown Museum is all about: miniatures.

Ross Ward had dedicated more than forty years of his life lovingly carving miniature wood figures that were first displayed in a travelling exhibit that lasted for decades. At present, there are more than 50,000 glass bottles displayed in the 22-room museum. Everything from vintage store fronts to wagon wheels to oddball western memorabilia, everything your imagination can conjure will probably be found within the walls of Tinkertown Museum NM.

In some rooms, the figures come to life with mechanical animation, from tottering polar bears to the Fat Lady herself, with the proverbial fan. Other legendary circus performers are featured such as animal trainers with their wildlife pets.

A museum and circus brought together with magic...that?s what you can look forward to when you visit Tinkertown Museum.
