Villa Philmonte is a historic house museum in Cimarron, New Mexico. It is located inside and as a part of the Philmont Scout Ranch owned by the Boy Scouts of America.

Built in 1926, the Villa Philmonte was originally created to serve as a ranch manor and summer home of oil magnate Waite and Genevieve Phillips. It is a massive structure measuring 28,400 square feet in size. Along with almost 100,000 acres of land surrounding the property, the manor was later donated to the Boy Scouts in 1941.

Today Villa Philmonte serves as a historic house museum, showcasing original period furnishings owned mostly of the Phillips? collections. It has a number of notable antiques and weapons on display. There?s also a grand piano at the entrance that is said to cost an estimate of $200,000.
