The Zuhl Geological Collection is a museum in Las Cruces, New Mexico. It is focused on the collection of the couple Herb and Joan Zuhl.
Also known as the Zuhl Museum, the Zuhl Geological Collection is located inside the New Mexico State University. It is named after the Herb and Joan Zuhl who collected the items on display. The couple started collecting petrified wood, minerals, and fossils for more than thirty years and allowed the university to display their massive collection starting April 2000. There are more than one thousand specimens on display.
The Zuhl Geological Collection is open Mondays through Fridays from 8 am to 5 in the afternoon. Interested parties can also visit the Zuhl Library located nearby.
