The Bayard Cutting Arboretum and State Park is a state recreational area and environmental education facility that is intended to provide a refreshing retreat for park visitors and tourists.

The park is filled with landscaped gardens and is centered on a large rambling house named Westbrook. The house and its surrounding landscaped park were given to the state by the widow and daughter of William Bayard Cutting, who originally owned and commissioned the creation of the gardens and house. The estate is listed on the Nation Register of Historic Places and is considered a national historical district. The park features and extensive collection of conifers.

Activities in the park include dining, gift shopping, nature hiking and other state recreation programs.
