The Burnham Point State Park is a local state park in Cape Vincent, New York

Considered one of the best access points to this area of the St. Lawrence River, the Burnham Point State Park is a quiet and lightly wooded recreation area equipped to handle campers and day visitors of different age groups and various activities.

Like most parks of the same size, Burnham Point State Park provides a venue for relaxation and quiet relief for park visitors. This is especially beneficial to older visitors like retirees and veterans. However, this does not mean that families cannot enjoy the park. The Burnham Point State park features a playground, picnic areas, primitive campsites and trailer camp areas. One of the parks heavily used amenities are its boat docks which are perfect for launching and using small boats to explore and fish the St. Lawrence.
