As any NYC local businessman is quick to tell you, money is quick to come and go when you’re in the food or restaurant business. But it’s not so for the Village Vanguard NYC, which has been around for over seven decades and yet still remains to be one of the top jazz clubs in the area.

If you’re a true-blue jazz fan (no pun intended) then enjoying a performance at the Village Vanguard is a must. The club is open every night, starting at 8PM while the show begins an hour after. During occasional weekends and to entertain the frequently huge crowds, a third set at 12:30AM would be offered.

Admission is very much affordable at only $25 per person and student discounts are also offered from Sunday and Thursday when they come in during or after the second set.
