The Airlie Gardens is a public garden in Wilmington, North Carolina. It is best noted for being a century old gardens, tracing its roots back to the early 1900s, when the site was still owned as a part of the Pembroke Jones family property.

They started the garden by planting thousands of flowering plants like magnolias, wisteria, camellias, and azaleas.

Dubbed as a “valuable cultural and ecological component” of the county of New Hanover and the history of North Carolina, the site was purchased by the local government in 1999 through the Clean Water Management Trust Fund from the Corbett family. This became the start of the beautiful 67 acre public gardens that celebrates the history and heritage of the area.
