The Annual KwanzaaFest Celebration is a yearly festival held n Durham, North Carolina. It celebrates the traditional American holiday, honoring and commemorating the heritage and culture of the African-American community.

The local celebration of the city of Durham started in 1987, when the first Annual KwanzaaFest Celebration was held. Like many other versions of this holiday festivities, the Durham leg features a couple of days? worth of music, food, fairs, and happenings. There is always a national touring African American dance ensemble present, as well as a series of local performers.

The Annual KwanzaaFest Celebration is usually held at the Hayti Heritage Center in downtown Durham, NC. The dates vary every year, but they commonly start holding events around the month of December.
