The Ava Gardner Museum features an extensive collection of memorabilia related to Ava Gardner. These pieces are either owned by Ava Gardner or her family, used in her movies, or has a special connection or relationship to Ava.

Museum exhibits display costumes, movie posters and awards that were part of the 50-year career of Eva Gardner as a leading actress in Hollywood. Visitors to the Museum can also view personal items consisting of china, jewelry, and fine art, which is composed of 40 Bert Pfeiffer portraits, a collection donated to the museum.

The Museum also features the Frank Sinatra Watch, given by Ava to Frank Sinatra. It is engraved with the words, "To Frank and desert nights - Ava," which is believed to be a reference to Sinatra's private getaway in Palm Desert, California.


Ava?s Cape and Shoes from The Barefoot Contessa are also on display. This includes 23 pairs of shoes as well as stunning silk satin cape wasn?t seen in the final cut of the movie. One highlight of the Museum is the Museum Gallery?s Main Case. It contains the black dress Ava wore in The Great Sinner. This is the dress people makes people amazed at tiny Eva?s waistline of 18 inches.
