The Barn Dinner Theatre was established in 1964, originally as a part of a dinner theatre chain. Back in the days, the casting will be done in New York and the production will travel through the different locations. There was even a time when the waiting staff was composed of the cast members themselves.
Sadly, this Barn Dinner Theatre in Greensboro is the last of its sort. It was the second location of the original 27 branches of the business, until time wore on.

Today, this location is the oldest continually operating dinner theatre in the country.
