The Border Belt Farmer?s Museum is a local history museum located in Fairmont, North Carolina. It is focused on the history of the tobacco industry, which is still pretty much the biggest trade and source of income in the area.

Housed in the old and historic Atlantic Coastline Railway Depot, the Border Belt Farmer?s Museum tells of the early years of the local industries in the area. Although it does put an emphasis on the tobacco trade, it also features a number of displays a series of information about the area?s railroading history, as well as the timber and turpentine industries.

Located behind the Post Office, the Border Belt Farmer?s Museum is open regularly on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11 am to 3 pm.
