The Buck Spring Plantation is a historic site in Warrenton, North Carolina. It commemorates and honors the life and career of Nathaniel Macon. A Warrenton native, he was also a noted and nationally known politician, mostly for his bold and daring opinions and beliefs. Tons of counties in the south are named after him.

The Buck Spring Plantation was Macon?s home from its completion c. 1781 (around the time with his marriage to Hannah Plummer) until his death in 1837.

The current site is a replica of the original structure. It is being prepared to serve as a regional leadership center. The complex will be composed of the structure along with the original smokehouse and corncrib, as well as the Macon gravesite among other things.
