The Buckner Hill Plantation is a historic plantation in Faison, North Carolina. It features the old plantation owned by Dr. Buckner Lanier Hill.

Built in the 1850s, the Buckner Hill Plantation features a Greek Revival plantation house as its centerpiece. Despite more than a century of existence, the house is still surrounded by acres of cotton, corn, tobacco, and cattle and still situated in a picturesque location. You may know it from being the set of the movie ?Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood?.

One of the largest antebellum plantation homes in the state, the plantation house is still pretty much the same thing as it has been in the times past. It was so well preserved that it receited a Gertrude S. Carraway Award of Merit from the Preservation North Carolina.

Currently, the Buckner Hill Plantation is available for tours by appointment.
