The Carl J. McEwen Historic Village is a history complex in Mint Hill, North Carolina. It is set during the late 1800s to early 1900s, a time of note in the area.

The Carl J. McEwen Historic Village chronicles the history of the Mecklenberg County through a series of old buildings restored to a beautiful state. They feature structures from the 19th and early 20th centuries, including a doctor’s office, a country store, a one-room schoolhouse, a gold assay office, and a series of village outbuildings.

There are tons of things to do while at the Carl J. McEwen Historic Village, most of which are informational and educational aside from being fun. They’re open on Tuesdays to Saturdays and by appointment.
